Serve Coca Cola "Sign of Good Taste" cardboard sign measuring 36"x20". Pictures three African-Americans drinking Coke and snacking. This is a great historical sign featuring Coca Cola's first black female model Mary C Alexander. Not many of these signs were made much less survived to see today. This one made almost 60 years ago in 1957. The frame is cross style aluminum with gold wash, typical of this period. Sign is marked: Copyright 1957, The Coca-Cola Company, Litho, in U.S.A. 824. This sign was rescued from a lifetime of neglect. Sign has a bow from moister exposure, scratches and stains. This would make a great restoration project. Very rare sign.
